...”Moto-Rama celebrates” cont’d from page one

Moto-Ramais going to return to it’s roots a bit more with this generation. I am going try to keep the focus of this site primarily on it’s function as a place to find your way to the established and most useful motorcycle information sites on the web. I will try to keep the links fresh and weed out the “page not found”s and other nuisances that are often the result of a simple web search.

Aside from that I want to keep the SF bay Area and Northern California as the center of this site’s universe.  That does not mean that subject matter from outside California will be excluded, just that it’s better to try do one thing well.

I hope to keep Moto-Rama online for many years to come, and will look forward to hearing from everyone that stops by.

Moto-Rama needs content and new links!

If you know of or have a website with a focus on motorcycles or riding, please send me your links. If you would like to contribute a ride report or journal, please email me a short outtake and a brief description of the main content, and I will gladly give it consideration for a feature article here.

All correspondence should be emailed to Moto-Rama at the following address

...”sites vanishing” cont’d from page one

I suppose it’s part of the ever evolving nature of the WWW. People who thought they could invest the time it takes to keep a web page or site up and running, did not have the will. People who take up riding are also prone to give it up after they actually do it for a while. That’s why you see motorcycles that are 5 years old for sale with 300 miles on them! hahaha.

Is it Ok to be that kind of rider? Well maybe it is stretching it to even call those people “riders”. I say we should call them something like “ soon to be a person who thought they wanted a bike” riders.

Just because someone gives up riding, does not make them a bad person, but it should.:)
